Similarities and Differences between Central Asian, Chinese, and Japanese empires

Religion was an important role in government decisions in both the Islamic Empires, which were the Ottomans, Safavids, and Mughals, and the Asian Empires, which included the Ming and Qing empires in China and Tokugawa in Japan. All of the empires do this because it offers the rulers a guideline to follow and gives them a structure of power and control to rule over their people. The two groups of empires differ because the Islamic Empires allowed women to play unofficial roles in the government so if their husband was away conquering lands, the wife would step in and take control over the government and have rights while the Asian Empires gave women no rights.
